In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of expeditiously responding to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied or used on our website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a formal takedown request following the guidelines below.

How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a copyright infringement notification with us, you will need to send a written communication that includes substantially the following information. Please ensure all fields are complete so our team can investigate and take action promptly:

  1. Your Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A clear description of the copyrighted work(s) that you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, please provide a representative list.
  3. Identification of the Infringing Material: A description of the material you claim is infringing, along with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the specific URL(s) on our website where the content appears).
  4. Your Contact Information: Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. Accuracy Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to our Copyright Agent using the same email address provided above. A valid counter-notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your jurisdiction, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notification.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, Search Engines Daily maintains a strict repeat infringer policy. We will, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, disable and/or terminate the accounts or publishing privileges of users or contributors who repeatedly infringe upon the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.
